| About the Course |
This award-winning course was Inspired by the Old Course at St. Andrews and Shinnecock Hills
in the Hamptons. Conway Farms Golf Club is a Tom Fazio designed links course. Without a doubt
it is one of Fazio's best, with its gentle rolling terrain and beautiful vistas. Incorporating
the existing forests, trees and wet lands. Players will be very pleased with the fairways and
greens.
The origins of Conway Farms Golf Club trace back to three Lake Forest families who love for golf
was exceeded only by their foresight. Their vision for a first-rank golf club began with the 1956
purchase of a farm straddling a stretch of old Conway Road, Conway Farms Golf Club ranked ninth
within the state of Illinois according to Golf Digest and it has previously been ranked
among the Top 100 courses by Golf Week.
Indeed, it is a course fit for champions; we are excited for the opportunity to have them host
us this year.

Walk in the Word
is the radio Bible - teaching ministry
of James MacDonald. Our purpose is to "ignite passion in the people of God through the
proclamation of truth." Lister-supported, Walk in the Word is heard on more than 600
stations across North America and worldwide at walkintheword.com.
As you already know, your contribution to Walk in the Word at this year's golf outing
is devoted directly to seize opportunities for air time expansion on strategic radio
stations and to explore the possibility of outreach through television. Last year we
raised over $65,000 and put it to immediate use. This year we've seen God's hand
directly involved in opening and close doors of opportunity. We confidently move
forward, know He always provides for where He leads. James will let you in on some
vision-casting for this new year during our lunch meeting. We're grateful that God
is using your partnership for ministry in days ahead for Walk in the Word. |
